If I were forced to pick the most significant insight from my childhood lessons of art & photography, it would be that the river isn’t something to control. It’s something to follow. And that, in the moments where I surrender my “idea” to what presents itself, that’s where my synapses fire and true creative impulses originate. For me, at least, those creative a-ha moments  are reactions to what is, not dreams of what might be. So, the photographs found on this site, which are largely unretouched in their attempt to explore the relationship between light, motion, color, and time, came from a place far deeper than I. I was just the conduit—and the universe allowed me to paint them with my camera.
